Welcome to Orchard House Nursery

Orchard House Nursery is an Ofsted registered setting with 32 places for children between the ages of 3 months and 5 years. As a small nursery, we can provide a personal and nurturing approach to childcare. We take pride in our practitioners most of whom have been with us for over five years, and we all share close bonds with each other and the children and families we work with. Our working hours are 7.45 am till 6.15 pm to suit the schedule of working parents.

Exciting Update

30 Hours Free Childcare for Babies from 9 Months – Starting September 2025

We are pleased to share that from September 2025, the Government is extending childcare funding to include babies from the age of 9 months. Eligible families will be able to access 30 hours of free childcare per week during term time.

To qualify:

- Both parents (or the sole parent in a single-parent household) must be working at least 16 hours per week.
- Households where either parent earns over £100,000 annually will not be eligible for this funding.
